Making an Adjective into an Adverb

Let's learn how to convert an adjective in Sairupanese into an adverb! Many adjectives can be turned into adverbs by adding additional letters after a word; for example, in English we can add -ly to make some words into an adverb. If we take the adjective 'quick', we can make it into an adverb 'quickly' by adding'-ly'. Let's see how this is done in Sairupanese:



To make an adjective into an adverb one of the following suffixes are added to the end of an adjective:

  • [-dəs]

  • [-ətəs]

  • [-pətəs]

  • [-təs]
