Learn how to construct a sentence in Sairupanese!

Rules for Ordering Sentences:

In Sairupanese, sentences always follow a subject-object-verb order. This is shown in the examples below:


English Translation: 'The dog bit the bone'

Sairupanese: Di mõr di dɑrp zaspɟœRuʎ

Direct English Translation: The dog the bone bit (past tense)

Subject Object Verb


English Translation: 'The big tree is in the park'

Sairupanese: Di mə̃ɾo tœs o di tRak Retmã

Direct English Translation: The big tree in the park is (present tense)

Subject Object Verb

Translate the following English sentence into Sairupanese:

‘I have extremely blue eyes’

Here are the vocabulary words you may need!

[Mĩŋ] 'I'

[lapmã] 'have

[mɛ̃jisãm] 'extremely'

[boja] 'blue'

[bẽŋũz] 'eyes'


Answer:

Remember, Sairupanese follows a Subject-Object-Verb sentence structure, so the Subject (I) is following by the Object (extremely blue eyes) and then the Verb (have)


Mĩŋ mɛ̃jisãm boja bẽŋũz lapmã

I extremely blue eyes have (present tense)
